The Roman Empire is falling apart. As the tyrannical reign of Tiberius Caesar comes to an end, his adopted nephew, Gaius, steps into the breach. Little Boots is a grandiose play set during the reign of notorious Roman Emperor Caligula. With a nuanced focus on issues of mental health and the experiences of the women of Ancient Rome, this four part audio drama made in collaboration with Blood Sweat and Tea Productions, brings together a combined cast of twelve professional and community actors as well as a score of original music composed by our own Anna Sherratt and Jessica Gittins.
