“Little Boots” receives Platinum Selection in International Audio Festival!

Our audio drama project, produced in collaboration with Blood Sweat and Tea Productions Ltd and written by Daniel Abbott, is currently being featured in the top tier of the international “Hear Now” Audio Fiction and Arts Festival. 

The play is featured in the “Platinum Selection” as part of their annual “Podcast Palooza” among a selection of other high quality and original audio fiction podcasts. During the festival, the production team were invited to join the Platinum Producers’ Panel, featuring renowned audio fiction producers from around the world. “Hear Now” festival is organised annually by National Audio Theatre Festivals, Inc. and is a gathering where the work of master storytellers in audio is celebrated and shared.

“Little Boots” was originally released in March 2021 and follows the reign of Gaius Caesar, better known as notorious emperor Caligula. During the series, he and his beloved sister, Drusilla, navigate the cutthroat world of ancient Rome surrounded by vicious siblings and stubborn senators. The play offers some more modern perspectives on mental health, family and politics, showing that events in the past might not have been so different to the world as we know it today.
