Roxy is having the time of her life, playing a worldwide tour and fulfilling her dreams of pop stardom with her musical mentor, Soffia. Tonight, she returns to Aberystwyth, the town she once called home, to bask in the glory of her successes, but there’s something amiss… 

Her childhood best friend, Laura, keeps showing up and reminding her of a time when her name was Elin, and the other life she thought she’d buried in the past.

Part acoustic-gig and part play, Growing Pains presents her memories with Laura, her dreams about becoming a pop star with imaginary friend Sophia, and the difficulties she faces when becoming an adult isn't everything it promises to be.
